Pinard Home Health provides short-term skilled nursing services under the direct order and supervision of a patient’s physician. Our experienced Registered Nurses deliver personalized care designed to support recovery, promote safety, and help patients maintain independence while remaining at home.
What Is Skilled Nursing Home Health?
Skilled nursing home health services involve medically necessary care that must be provided by licensed healthcare professionals. These services are typically prescribed following hospitalization, illness, injury, or the diagnosis of a new medical condition.
Care is provided on a short-term basis, generally 1–3 visits per week for approximately 45 minutes per visit, depending on physician orders and patient needs.

- Comprehensive patient assessments
- Development and management of individualized plans of care
- Medication management and patient education
- Chronic disease and diagnosis education
- Post-hospitalization monitoring and support
- Coordination of care with physicians and healthcare providers
All services are delivered according to physician orders and managed by RN case managers to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Who Can Benefit From Skilled Nursing?
Skilled nursing services may be appropriate for patients who:
- Are recovering from surgery, illness, or hospitalization
- Have complex medical conditions requiring professional monitoring
- Need education related to a new diagnosis or treatment plan
- Require ongoing skilled medical oversight in the home
Eligibility for home health services is determined by a physician and may require that leaving the home involves a considerable and taxing effort.
Our Commitment to Quality Care
Pinard Home Health is Joint Commission Certified and committed to providing safe, high-quality patient care. Each patient receives an individualized plan of care managed by an RN case manager, and our services are continuously evaluated through patient satisfaction surveys and clinical quality measures.
We also have Registered Nurses available on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to address patient needs outside of regular business hours.
