Pinard Home Health provides skilled, physician-ordered IV therapy services administered by licensed clinicians in the comfort and safety of the patient’s home. Our in-home IV therapy allows patients to receive necessary treatments while reducing hospital stays and supporting recovery in a familiar environment.
What Is Home Health IV Therapy?
Home health IV therapy is a medically necessary service provided under a physician’s order and supervision. It is often prescribed for patients who require intravenous medications, fluids, or treatments following hospitalization, illness, or as part of an ongoing medical plan.
IV therapy services are provided on a short-term basis, typically 1–3 visits per week for approximately 45 minutes per visit, depending on physician orders and individual patient needs.
Our IV Therapy Services May Include
- Administration of IV medications and therapies
- Monitoring patient response to treatment
- IV site care and assessment
- Coordination of care with the patient’s physician
- Patient and caregiver education related to IV therapy
- Ongoing safety monitoring and clinical documentation
All IV therapy services are delivered according to physician orders and managed by RN case managers to ensure accuracy, safety, and continuity of care.

Eligibility for home health services is determined by a physician and may require that leaving the home involves a considerable and taxing effort.

Registered Nurses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to support patient needs outside of regular business hours.
