In-Home Physical Therapy to Restore Strength and Mobility
Pinard Home Health provides skilled, physician-ordered physical therapy services in the comfort of the patient’s home. Our licensed physical therapists focus on improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function to help patients safely return to daily activities and maintain independence.
What Is Home Health Physical Therapy?
Home health physical therapy is a medically necessary service provided by licensed professionals under a physician’s order. Therapy is often prescribed following surgery, illness, injury, or hospitalization and is designed to support recovery while reducing the need for frequent travel to outpatient facilities.
Physical therapy services are provided on a short-term basis, typically 1–3 visits per week for approximately 45 minutes per visit, based on physician orders and individual patient needs.

- Strengthening and flexibility exercises
- Gait, balance, and mobility training
- Pain management techniques
- Fall prevention strategies
- Functional movement and daily activity training
- Education for patients and caregivers to support continued progress
Each therapy plan is individualized and coordinated with the patient’s physician to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Who Can Benefit From Physical Therapy?
Physical therapy services may be appropriate for patients who:
- Are recovering from surgery or hospitalization
- Have experienced injury or decreased mobility
- Are managing chronic conditions that affect movement
- Are at risk for falls or loss of functional independence
Eligibility for home health services is determined by a physician and may require that leaving the home involves a considerable and taxing effort.

Pinard Home Health is Joint Commission Certified and committed to delivering high-quality physical therapy services focused on patient safety and positive outcomes. Our clinical team works closely with RN case managers and physicians to monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Registered Nurses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to support patient needs outside of regular business hours.
