Pinard Home Health provides skilled, physician-ordered wound care services designed to promote healing, reduce the risk of infection, and support recovery in the comfort and safety of the patient’s home. Our experienced clinical team follows evidence-based practices to ensure each patient receives high-quality, personalized care.
What Is Skilled Wound Care?
Skilled wound care involves medically necessary treatment that must be provided by licensed healthcare professionals. These services are often prescribed following surgery, injury, illness, or for the management of chronic or non-healing wounds.
Wound care services are provided on a short-term basis, typically 1–3 visits per week for approximately 45 minutes per visit, based on physician orders and individual patient needs.
Our Wound Care Services May Include
- Comprehensive wound assessments
- Dressing changes and wound management
- Monitoring for signs of infection or complications
- Coordination of care with the patient’s physician
- Education for patients and caregivers on proper wound care
- Support for chronic and complex wound conditions
All wound care services are delivered according to physician orders and managed by RN case managers to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Who Can Benefit From Wound Care?
Skilled wound care services may be appropriate for patients who:
- Are recovering from surgery or injury
- Have chronic or slow-healing wounds
- Are at risk for wound-related complications or infection
- Require professional wound monitoring and treatment at home
Eligibility for home health services is determined by a physician and may require that leaving the home involves a considerable and taxing effort.
Our Commitment to Quality & Safety
Pinard Home Health is Joint Commission Certified and committed to providing safe, effective, and compassionate wound care services. Each patient receives an individualized plan of care managed by an RN case manager, and care quality is continuously evaluated through patient satisfaction surveys and clinical performance measures.
Registered Nurses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to support patient needs outside of regular business hours.
